Cyanotype chemistry forms the light-sensitive solution that produces the characteristic Prussian blue print after UV exposure and rinsing.

Choose between refill, individual components and solution

Check which components are included, in what concentration or quantity and how much solution can be prepared with them. Pre-measured or pre-mixed products are convenient; loose raw materials require more accurate measuring and knowledge of the product instructions. Only use components explicitly intended for the same cyanotype process.

Mix safely and work reproducibly

Wear the personal protection prescribed on the label, work in a well-ventilated area and use labeled tools only for cyanotype and never for food. Never mix cyanotype chemicals with acids, cleaning products or unknown substances. Record ratio, paper, drying time, exposure and rinse time and make a test strip for each new combination. Store components according to the label, out of the reach of children and protected from unwanted light.
