Glue
The right creative glue is determined by both materials, the desired open time, flexibility and whether the connection must dry transparently.
Paper, textiles, wood and smooth surfaces
Paper glue must dry flat without unnecessarily wetting the sheet. For textiles, lasting flexibility is important, while wood and porous materials benefit from full contact surfaces. Glass, metal and plastic require an adhesive that has been explicitly tested for the surface in question.
Strength comes from preparation
Make surfaces clean, dry and dust-free and do not apply more adhesive than necessary. Respect open time, clamping time and complete curing: a connection that can already be touched does not yet have its full final strength. Test on scrap material when discoloration, bleeding or deterioration of paint and coating is possible and ventilate with solvent-containing products.
