Pébéo Fantasy Prisme effect paint 45 ml

Pébéo Fantasy Prisme is ready-to-use solvent-based effect paint for glossy honeycomb patterns. You receive one 45 ml pot in your chosen colour, rather than a 22-colour set. Use it for decorative panels, jewellery components and small objects on which the paint can dry horizontally.

Choosing a colour and contents

Eggshell white and onyx provide light and dark accents; antique gold adds a warm golden shade. Compare the pinks and violets with the blue and green shades. The four fluorescent colours are yellow, orange, pink and green. Choose by colour name and number, and assess the dry result on a sample. The final pattern also depends on the layer thickness.

Start with a thick, level layer

Stir the colour thoroughly before use. Work on a flat, horizontal, carefully degreased surface such as glass, mirror, wood, metal, ceramic or terracotta. Deposit the paint with a pipette, pour directly from the pot or use a brush to place it without pulling it into strokes. A thick layer is the intended application; the pattern that develops while drying depends on the deposited thickness. This paint is solvent-based: do not dilute with water.

Keep a sample as a pattern reference

Make two small samples on the same surface with the same colour. Apply both in a thick layer but vary the amount per area. Keep the work horizontal and compare the dried pattern. Record colour code, surface, tool and amount so you can repeat a useful approach. Vitrail Cernes Relief can define outlines. Drying and an optional resin finish

Guide times are about six hours until dust-free and 72 hours drying. For Pébéo Gédéo Glazing Resin, let Prisme dry thoroughly for at least 72 hours. Then apply a layer of Pébéo Bindex and allow eight hours drying before pouring this resin; also follow the resin’s own instructions. Decorated objects are for decorative use only: do not paint surfaces that will contact food. Protect the paint from frost and heat and close the pots after use.
