Pébéo Studio Acrylics Pouring Medium 500 ml

Pébéo Studio Acrylics Pouring Medium makes acrylic paint more fluid for pouring, dripping and marbled patterns. The medium is glossy, transparent and non-yellowing. You receive one 500 ml bottle. Paint, mixing cups, tools and painting surface are sold separately.

Flowing lines, marbling or a gloss finish

Mix the medium with Studio Acrylics or Mat Pub colours to adjust flow without weakening the paint as adding water does. Let the colour flow in ribbons or fine strands, or pour the mixture over your surface for smooth colour flows and marbling. You can also apply the medium without paint using a brush as a gloss varnish.

Try a small mix with your own colours

Mix each colour separately and add the medium gradually. Compare how the mixtures flow on a test piece of the same surface, then assess the dry result too. Record your proportions before making a larger work; the flow you need depends on the paint and effect. Follow the product instructions for application and drying.

For cell effects, you can add a very small amount of silicone oil, such as a few drops. This can start cell formation; the medium alone does not guarantee cells. Silicone oil is sold separately.

Safe use

Contains BIT and CMIT/MIT and may cause an allergic reaction. Keep out of reach of children. Work with adequate ventilation and protect your eyes from splashes. Wear suitable gloves for prolonged or repeated skin contact and wash your hands after use. Seek medical advice for an allergic reaction and keep the label available. Store tightly closed and protected from frost. Do not pour residues down the drain.
