What does double-sided mean for this paper?
Double-sided describes the paper coating, not your printer’s functions. You can print on both sides, but automatic duplex printing is possible only if your printer supports it for this paper weight and thickness. A manual second pass may be an alternative if the printer instructions allow it. The pack has one fixed semigloss finish; it does not offer a choice of matt or high-gloss paper.
Will your printer accept it?
Semigloss Duo, range code GPSGD, is resin-coated inkjet photo paper for aqueous dye and pigment inks. Check that your printer accepts A4 measuring 21 × 29.7 cm, 250 gsm and 250 µm, including the intended feed path. The correct ink type alone does not confirm full printer compatibility. Ilford describes the surface as touch-dry straight after printing; this is not a guarantee against scratches or fingerprints.
How to test a photo page
Make one test sheet with your chosen photographs and any text first. Check the crop, printer margins and the direction in which you turn the sheet. A4 is not the same size as 20 × 30 cm. Use suitable photo-paper settings and a profile for your printer, ink and paper where available. Handle both printed sides carefully and protect prints when stacking them.
