The Marumi DHG ND (Digital High Grade Neutral Density) is a gray filter that puts you in full control of the bright light entering your lens. These ND 64 filters feature a high-quality multi-coating that significantly reduces reflections from incoming light without affecting the color balance. Whether there’s too much light or you want to use a different aperture with the same shutter speed, this gray filter delivers the perfect solution. It reduces the light intensity passing through your lens. With the Marumi DHG ND 64 filter, you slow down the aperture value by 6 stops. This allows you to use a longer shutter speed while keeping the aperture unchanged. So, there’s no need to close down your aperture further to achieve a longer exposure. This extended shutter speed lets you capture movement in a photo and avoids static images, helping you prevent the “ghosting” effect often seen in photos of flowing water.
