Using a mat with a smaller print
To display a smaller photograph with a border, choose a mat with outer dimensions matching the frame and an opening that holds your image in position. The maximum insertion height is 1.9 mm. Check the combined thickness of print and mat; this slim frame is not intended for deep relief work or stretched canvas.
Fitting your image
- Lay the frame on a clean, soft surface and open the rotating spring fasteners on the back.
- Remove the backing, position your image and check its orientation and edges.
- Close the backing without forcing it. Make sure every fastener holds the backing securely.
Allow a handmade print to dry completely before framing. Keep light-sensitive artwork out of direct sunlight.
