The StudioKing FTR-18 is a flexible tabletop tripod that’s perfect for your camera or smartphone. Its three rubber legs bend easily into any position, providing a reliable and sturdy base. Unlike other tripods on the market, the FTR-18’s extra-flexible legs give you ultimate bending freedom — all at just a fraction of the price of typical flex tripods.
Key Features of the FTR-18
- Extra-flexible legs, bendable into any shape
- Supports cameras up to 3 kilograms, including advanced DSLRs
- Textured surface for better grip on various surfaces
- Adjustable leg spread for versatile placement
- 1/4" male thread on top, compatible with nearly every camera
During development, StudioKing used a material that’s not only easy to bend but also holds its shape perfectly. This means you can stop worrying and spend more time capturing that perfect shot. With the capacity to hold cameras up to 3 kilograms, even the most advanced DSLR cameras are effortlessly portable anywhere you go.
Bringing a full-sized tripod on the move can often be cumbersome, especially when there’s no flat surface on location. The FTR-18 is the perfect solution. Simply wrap it around a tree trunk, place it on a rock, or secure the legs around a fence. The textured legs offer even better grip. You adjust the leg spread easily with a rotating red ring. When folded, the tripod measures just 33 cm tall without the smartphone adapter and weighs only 309 grams.
With the included smartphone adapter, the FTR-18 is ideal for use with your phone as well. The adapter features screw threads in two places, allowing for vertical or horizontal mounting on the ball head. You then clamp your smartphone into the flexible holder, compatible with all common models up to 85 mm wide.
The tilt ball head on top of the tripod, equipped with a 1/4" male thread, lets you position your camera almost any way you like. The rubber coating under the thread keeps your camera securely in place without damage. An integrated bubble level ensures your shots are perfectly aligned, while the quick-release plate makes it easy to remove and reattach your camera fast.
If you often shoot videos on location, the FTR-18 is indispensable. Its flexible design provides stable footage in nearly every situation — perfect for filming a vlog, for example. You can connect your DSLR or compact camera directly, and the special adapter for your smartphone is included. The interchangeable ball head, featuring a dedicated groove, makes both horizontal and vertical shooting straightforward.
